A new modern neighbourhood, close to Nordhavn is raising in the north-central part of Copenhagen; an atractive and international area, with a new and imposing United Nations headquarters, residential and comercial buildings and a hotel.
The new "city", will be linked with a bridge to Langelinie, so people will be able to watch from above the Copenhagen-Oslo cruise. Leif Hansen Consulting Engineers and Architects won this exciting project, and they will design a huge buiding of aprox. 30,000 m² with possibility to extension with extra 15,000 square meters. The building will represent the UN vision of hosting all the organizations in a single building - "One UN" , but still keeping the own identity of each of them.
