Times Square is always crowded. Thousand of people every day, tourists taking a picture and enjoying the light show, locals rushing at work and various kinds of guys trying to sell, advertise or scum someone. Its a place that never sleeps. I wonder how much electricity a place like this can waste every day. Those huge billboards showing everything from the NYSE evolution to the last generation of bras, are always on, 24 hours per day, probably using the energy required by a small city. Is it really necessary? What is your opinion?
