The Gefion Fountain (Gefionspringvandet) was designed by Danish artist Andres Bundgaard between 1897-1899. It can be easily found in Langelinie Park next to Kastellet. The fountain is representing a large-scale group of animal figures being driven by the legendary Norse goddess, Gefjun. The fountain, the largest monument in Copenhagen is used as a wishing well.
