Stockholm - metro art

Solna Centrum

Stockholm metro stations are well known for being extremely attractive. Comparing with, for example, the old metro in New York with funny smells, dirty walls and sauna like sensation during summer time, the Swedish capital subway (tunnelbana) is a treat for the eye. So having this in mind and forced by the snowy weather that we got Saturday morning, we ended up hunting the most interesting metro stations. We spent quite some time waiting for the right moment between trains, when there were no people. Early hour and crappy weather made this mission easier. We started at Stadion (close to were our hotel was located), continued at T-Centralen, then switched to blue line visiting Kungsträdgården, Solna Centrum and finally Näckrosen. They were those that wikipedia was mentioning as being the most interesting. In this post you can find the result of about 2 hours of movement, waiting and finally shooting.
